2009年7月13日、SFT Japan（Students for a Free TIBET Japan／代表ツェリン・ドルジェ氏）は、「聖地チベット ポタラ宮と天空の至宝」展の開催に抗議し、上野の森美術館館長、水野政一氏に展示内容の見直しを求める要請状を送付しました。
